Immeasurably More
Ephesians 3:20-21
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”
Welcome to Week 1 in my FAITH bible study series!
Eph 3:20 is our key verse for this week.
Which is exactly where I started – immeasurably more. What does that mean for me? What would that look like? Do I even believe it? Straight up answer: NO!
My Faith Journey:
Psalm 37:23-24
“The steps of a good woman are ordered by the Lord,
And He delights in her way.
Though she fall, she shall not be utterly cast down;
For the Lord upholds her with His hand.”
I realised that having a faith expectation and actually taking steps of faith was not the same thing. Just as one can expect to go on holiday, but not actually take steps to organise a holiday. I could not say I believe God, but when you examine my life I have not put feet to my faith, no walk to my talk. If the steps of a good woman were ordered by the Lord, it was in order to bring me from glory to glory, from favor to even greater favor and from victory to even greater victory. I should be able to notice some form of faith momentum happening in my life.
His next step is another level of glory, where He is glorified in my life.
So if I believe that He orders my steps according to His purpose, do I have great expectations?

This is the time and the season to:
- Get Real about what you believe – often what we really believe does not agree with our words and our behavior.
- Declare the decree of the Word – start declaring what the Word of God, the truth, says.
- Put feet to your faith – do something. James 2:26 “As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.” You cannot just believe it, it has to translate into action. Actions demonstrate what your really believe.
- Time to show God strong in your life – whatever you nourish will flourish!
