Know His Love
Why is it important not to just know of the love of God, but to know the love of God in our lives.
Why is it important not to just know of the love of God, but to know the love of God in our lives.
When we pray for strength, we often pray for release or endurance to get through a difficult experience, or we pray for an ability to do something really difficult. How does God strengthen us on those days that we feel really weak?
Even though I go to bed, scripture reveals that God often works through the night in our interests.
Ever felt misunderstood? Ever felt that no one really "gets" you? Do you desire to be intimately known and understood?
Did Jesus experience emotional pain as well as physical pain? What experiences would have hurt His heart deeply on the way to the cross?
If God is our Father, how do we know that He is a good father? What does a good father look like? Scripture is clear about how God's love towards us is perfect. All He does for us is motivated by His love.
We do not always understand all that happens in our lives, the valleys and the high places. We wonder about the purpose and the plan, and where the end of our journey is. What comfort is there in trusting God's love, for life?
When we have a "cooling off" in our love, we develop hearts that are cold, a characteristic of the church in the end time.
A prayer for those who love
I know I cannot love with my "little love" how the bible describes I should love!
