Every now and then, the Lord whispers a word, phrase and picture into my heart and then journeys with me on that concept.
One of my goals at Heart Treasure is to share treasures that are personal to my heart and spiritual walk, allowing you, as reader, an opportunity to journey with me. I am trusting that as God does a new work in my heart, the Holy Spirit will do a work in your heart too.
Word@Moment allows you to follow this discussion with the Lord, as He reveals it to me. It basically collects all the blog posts that have been published so far on the topic, in one place. Here, is where you can find it.

Earlier this year, I was told that I had chronic fatigue. It was no surprise, I had been tired for a long time and this confirmed what the Lord had already said to me in my quiet times. He had given me a specific verse which described the state of my life. Isaiah 30:15
“In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.”
He had also previously given me an instruction: To Rest in His Love.
Those of you who regularly read Heart Treasure, would have followed my journey on the concept of the Lord’s Love (for more on this follow the love tag at the bottom of the page,) but I had not paid much attention to the word Rest. The Lord then drew my attention to this word in the above verse, and this is the journey that follows.
I have come to understand that to relax in the Lords love, to know and trust His love, is the starting point of rest.
“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” 1 John 4:16
However, I have also come to understand that there are some thinking patterns that I have that have to change in order to embrace rest as God would have me rest.
“‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.’” Matt 11:28-30
I hope you find rest along with me.
