We may think of ourselves as compassionate, but is it not empathy or pity? What does compassion really look like? Jesus had compassion, so what would we be our characteristics if we were a people of compassion?
Often we feel that we cannot change anything about the world we live in. Yet everyone of us has relationships with other people and come across people in our day to day life. How should we approach the people that are in our lives? We look at Jesus' example to find answers.
To count on somebody is to expect them to help you when you need them. In this world, where problems can be counted on, to have someone in our lives who we can be confident in and depend on, is of great value. So who can you count on?
